Deezer Introduces New Design For Flow and Player on Mobile

Deezer, the premier digital music streaming service, today unveils a sleek new look and improved functionality for Flow and music player on mobile. Presenting bold, clean lines and a smart appearance, the new design incorporates a number of updated features including a personalised greeting on launch, one click like / dislike buttons and improved access to themed radio channels, bringing it in line with the web version of Deezer.

The updated design includes:

  • Increased personalisation – a new look and feel with a welcome message to greet users as they log in, contextualised with time-zone and location
  • Welcome Screen favourites – suggestions for radio channels, albums and playlists based on what you love
  • Better interactivity – users can now like and dislike tracks, helping refine algorithmic recommendations even further
  • Queue-List – easy access to a new queue list page, which displays previous and current tracks, as well as the ability to add tracks for future plays.

Alexandre Croiseaux, VP of Product at Deezer, said: “Recent changes to our desktop design have proved extremely popular with users, so for me it was a logical step to take these learnings and apply it to our mobile interface. With this simplified and improved design you’ll be closer to the music in a more personalised way than before.”

The latest version of Deezer will be available on Android from Wednesday 10th December, with iOS in the following weeks.
